A Life of Service
Calvin Sandoval is a working tradesman, longtime union steward, husband, father, and proud enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. Raised in the Las Vegas Valley from the time he was ten days old, Calvin graduated from Cimarron-Memorial High School and has spent more than two decades as a union plumber and pipefitter with UA Local 525. A third-generation union member, he comes from a family that helped build Nevada.
For more than a decade, Calvin served as a union steward, representing workers, negotiating agreements, and resolving workplace disputes. He is running for Nevada State Senate to bring a practical, independent, and no-nonsense voice to Carson City—one grounded in hard work, service, and the everyday experiences of Nevada families.
He spent his career in organized labor, serving as a dedicated union member. This experience provided him with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by Nevada's working families and the need for fair, practical governance.

Nevada should be a place where working people can afford a home, raise a family, receive quality healthcare, and retire with dignity. Our growth must benefit the people who live and work here through good-paying jobs, strong schools, responsible development, reliable infrastructure, and support for seniors, veterans, first responders, tribal communities, and small businesses.
I will work with Democrats, Republicans, and independents whenever it serves the people of Nevada. Good ideas do not belong to one party. By putting families ahead of special interests and replacing political noise with steady, practical leadership, we can build a stronger Nevada without losing the values that built it.
